Our first stop on the tour is Marsaxlokk, a fishing village that may seem peaceful at first glance but is full of life and activity. This lively, bustling spot is home to a daily open market by the sea, where visitors can experience an authentic Maltese fishing community and learn about the island’s fishing industry. The harbour, dotted with traditional luzzus—brightly painted fishing boats—creates a vibrant backdrop, perfect for capturing a classic Maltese scene.
The next stop of our tour is a visit to the Blue Grotto. This picturesque grotto and its neighbouring system of sea caverns mirror the brilliant phosphorescent colours of underwater flora. A boat trip ( optional) that takes you along the coast lasts around 25 minutes and it will allow you to explore these stunning grottoes and sea caverns... The boat trip is not included in the overall price as it operates subject to weather conditions, €10 per person paid on the day).
Our final stop takes us to the charming village of Qrendi, a peaceful retreat away from the bustle of the cities. Its slower pace of life reflects the essence of a traditional Maltese village, where locals are warm and welcoming. As we stroll through its quiet streets, we’ll come across historic landmarks like the Torre Cavalier and grand palaces once built for nobles. But just as captivating are the characteristic farmhouses and townhouses, built by everyday Maltese people, each telling a story of the island’s past. To complete the experience, we’ll stop at a kazin—a local social club—where we’ll enjoy tea served in a glass and a light snack, offering a true taste of village life.
This tour starts at 0830hrs and is available from Monday to Saturday.
