We start from the Valletta shore were a private traditional Dghajsa boat (similar to a gondola) will be waiting to take you on a 30 minute tour, ferrying you around the Grand Harbour. This boat ride offers a unique vantage point, showcasing the impressive fortifications and surrounding maritime cities. It also allows you to see areas of the harbour that are otherwise hidden from the land.
You are dropped off on the other side of the Grand Harbour, into what is referred to as a ‘creek’, where up until the 18th century some of the finest galleys in the Mediterranean where once berthed. From here, you will make your way up to Birgu. In 1532 the Knights of St. John first settled in this area, and you will gain an insight to an era dominated by the Knights of St. John. Our walking tour will take us to the heart of the city which will be lamplit as the sun sets. We navigate our way through the narrow streets and quaint alleys, known as the 'collacchio', an area of old Palazzo's which were the original Auberges occupied by the Knights.
The tour will end at a restaurant by the sea, with seating on the water’s edge, giving us a spectacular sea-side view of the night-lit Grand Harbour. Here you can try local seafood, pasta, pizza and other cuisine.
This tour starts at 1800hrs and is available on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday, between mid-May and mid-October.

Prices are based on the group size and are not per person. The size of transport is provided based on the number of passengers in your party.

*The 1 to 3 passenger rate is suitable for 2 adults or 2 adults and a young child, using a sedan type vehicle. 3 adults must calculate using the 3 to 6 passenger rate, which is for a small van.
Supplements
Tours on Public Holidays are subject to a eur45 supplement.
Not Included
Traditional Dghajsa - the boat trip around the harbour is private. The cost is between eur40 for 1 to 3 people and eur60 for 4 to 6 people.
Food and drinks are not included in the tour rate.
